Job summary

InfraHire is seeking a Logistics Clerk in GA to support warehouse operations, verify shipments, and manage inventory using ERP/WMS systems. You’ll prepare shipping documents and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires 1–3 years in shipping/receiving or related fields, a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), and strong attention to detail with good math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy; verify against packing slips.
• Unload and process incoming and outgoing goods; prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, shipping labels, customs forms).
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using ERP/WMS.
• Optimize storage space and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Prepare and process purchase orders; monitor vendor lead times and track order delivery status.
• Resolve invoice or order discrepancies with suppliers.
• Maintain and organize records of all warehouse transactions.
• Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries; collaborate with sales, production, and accounting teams to fulfill orders.
• Use ERP/inventory systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and shipping software (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS CampusShip).
• Utilize intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for data entry and reporting.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail, basic math skills, effective communication, and time management.
