Job summary

Lowe’s in Ohio is seeking a Logistics Team Member responsible for ensuring inbound, stocked and shipped products are accurate in dimensions, quantities, UPCs, and descriptions. You will audit vendor packaging and communicate logistics issues to the General Office; some cross-department work may be required.

The role requires a set schedule with potential mornings, afternoons, nights or weekends, physical work in a distribution environment, and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record of good attendance.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• If Internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inbound, stocked and shipped products are accurate in case dimensions, case quantity, inner pack quantity and selling units.
• Audit and inspect products daily to determine vendor compliance and recommend new packaging/handling requirements.
• Ensure stock and nonstock returns are completed accurately and timely and communicate logistics issues to the General Office.
• May work in other departments as needed by management.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Manager on duty or Planning Coach.
