Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) seeks a Logistics Specialist to support the Ames AFSS II contract at Moffett Field, CA. You will oversee the day-to-day logistics, including receipt, storage, tracking, movement, and accountability of tools, equipment, and supplies to sustain facility operations and maintenance.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, one year data entry/stockroom experience, and proficiency with MS Word and Excel. Hourly rate shown: $54.39 USD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of data entry, stockroom, and receiving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak clearly; proficient with MS Word and Excel; can lift 20–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dyes, replacement parts, shop supplies, and equipment.
• Keeps records of supplies issued to and returned by workers; searches for lost or misplaced tools.
• Unpacks and stores new materials.
• Inspects tools for wear or defects and reports issues.
• May attach ID tags or engrave information on tools and equipment.
