Job summary

Tampa Microwave, located in Clearwater, FL, is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory levels and drive efficient material flow in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires cycle counting, FIFO material handling, and use of MRP/ERP systems to process receipts, issues, and shipments. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• 3-5 Years Inventory Experience.
• 3-5 Years ERP/MRP experience.
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to support accurate inventory levels.
• Pull and kit components for internal and external customers using FIFO and proper lot/serial control; issue materials through the MRP/ERP system.
• Complete work orders by verifying material quantities, identifying variances, and processing transactions in the MRP/ERP system.
• Prepare, kit, and process Finished Goods using FIFO; record lot and serial numbers; store or issue materials to subsequent builds.
• Put away incoming materials, maintain accurate part locations, and generate ID labels per drawings/specs.
• Prepare, package, and palletize shipments; process shipping transactions in the ERP system; ship orders via small parcel or freight carriers; generate invoices for international shipments as needed.
• Maintain an organized stockroom; update bin labels; support location audits; suggest improvements for material flow and storage utilization.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory documentation; record material movements; support root-cause analysis of discrepancies.
• Follow safety and compliance protocols, including ESD handling; participate in audits and trainings.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior while representing Tampa Microwave on/off premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Tampa Microwave is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Manpack & Fly Away satellite terminals designed and built for the expeditionary user community to guarantee communications connectivity in the most austere environments. Tampa Microwave primarily serves Federal and Department of Defense markets.

We are seeking to fill an Inventory Clerk position located in our Clearwater, FL location. This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety and compliance protocols, including ESD handling requirements, and participate in audits and required training sessions.
• Demonstrate ethical business conduct and professional behavior while representing Tampa Microwave on and off the premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Level Security Clearance upon hire if required
• 3-5 Years Inventory Experience
• 3-5 Years of ERP/MRP experience
• Strong math and communication skills
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to lift and move totes, shipping cases up to 50 lbs.
• Regular bending lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above shoulder level
• Work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality and accuracy
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Fluent in the English language- written and oral
• Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
