Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a Logistics Integrator to support the Operations and Planning team with inventory forecasting, planning, and reporting. The role includes work order tracking, hardware allocation, and scheduling of ground and flight events to meet milestone delivery goals.

Candidate will develop plans, track schedules, and present status to internal and external customers, while maintaining logs and indices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 0–3 years of experience or equivalent combination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong written and oral communication with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in fast-moving environments and solve problems proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast hardware inventory requirements for flight, training, and ground support.
  • Submit hardware inventory status reports with counts and maintenance intervals.
  • Monitor maintenance requirements and implement preventative tasks.
  • Develop work authorization packages to ensure timely delivery and closure.
  • Use the Inventory Management System to allocate and track hardware for events.
  • Coordinate pre-delivery requirements and readiness reviews for cargo integration.
  • Create and maintain hardware planning processes and procedures.
  • Ensure configuration management and documentation compliance.
  • Communicate project progress and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Apply agile project management practices across the project lifecycle.

POSITION SUMMARY

Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy Logistics Integrator who will primarily be responsible for aiding Axiom’s Operations and Planning team with the execution of logistical operations efforts. This entry level role includes, but is not limited to inventory forecasting, planning, and reporting; work order generation and tracking; hardware allocation, ground and flight event scheduling, tracking and reporting mission critical milestones, schedule development, conducting pre-delivery readiness reviews, and presenting deliverable status and schedules to all levels of internal and external customers.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret hardware data to forecast hardware inventory requirements for flight, training, and ground support hardware and initiate plans for procurement and/or production
  • Create, maintain, and submit customer hardware inventory status contract deliverables that include inventory counts, forecasted use, and maintenance interval information
  • Support the monitoring of training and flight hardware maintenance requirements and implement plans to perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Assist in developing and tracking work authorization packages in support of manufacturing, processing, and testing activities to ensure timely delivery and work order closure by maintaining accountability logs, records, and indices as required
  • Utilize the Inventory Management System to identify, allocate, verify readiness, and track hardware in support of specific flight and ground events
  • Support flight hardware manifesting tasks and coordinate pre-delivery requirements for cargo integration which include pre-delivery paperwork, readiness reviews, and delivery schedules
  • Develop and maintain hardware planning processes, procedures, and work instructions
  • Ensure compliance with configuration management and documentation requirements
  • Communicate project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership
  • Implement and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned

Requirements

This position may require access to export controlled technical data or technology subject to NASA regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). In accordance with U.S. export control laws, final candidates may be required to undergo additional export control screening to determine eligibility for access. Meeting these requirements is a condition of employment.
