Job summary

LOGISTEC is hiring General Laborers to support terminal and stevedoring operations. The role involves preparing cargo for loading and unloading, following loading plans, and operating small equipment with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Ideal candidates are able to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and communicate effectively. A valid driver’s license and TWIC eligibility are required to comply with site security and transport regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in marine environments.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing; TWIC card eligibility and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cargo for loading/unloading.
• Follow loading plans.
• Operate small equipment as instructed.
• General housekeeping to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform heavy lifting duties.
• Observe all safety rules and use good safety habits.
