Job summary

Logistec is seeking an entry-level Longshoreman I to support terminal and stevedoring operations on the docks and in holds. The role emphasizes learning basic tasks under close supervision while gaining independence with experience.

You will perform duties such as handling timbers, cleaning work areas, and assisting with hooking on and unhooking cargoes on vessels and terminals. No prior experience is required and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to work in outdoor and marine environments under varying weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices preferred.
