Job summary

Fagron Sterile Services US (FSS) is seeking a Logistics & Fulfillment Supervisor in Post Production to lead a production team in a controlled, compliant environment. You will schedule staff, assign duties, and evaluate performance while ensuring adherence to quality systems and GMP.

You will coordinate with department leads, approve timekeeping, and drive improvements through audits and deviation investigations to maintain efficient, accurate operations.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in a leadership role (Shift or Line Leader, Group Leader, etc.).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to lead a team.
  • Solid math and problem-solving abilities with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate manpower to ensure timely execution of production, labeling, fulfillment, logistics and inspections daily.
  • Approve electronic timekeeping and PTO records.
  • Identify growth opportunities and coach team members for performance improvements.
  • Assign tasks, support other departments as needed, and help on special projects.
  • Participate in internal audits and CAPA actions to close procedural gaps.
  • Monitor workflow and implement process changes based on deviations.

Job description

As the Logistics & Fulfillment Supervisor in Post Production, you will be responsible for ensuring the team operates according to Standard Operating Procedures and that the team maintains a professional and controlled environment. This is accomplished by ensuring necessary equipment, facilities and staff are fully trained and adhere to the associated quality systems and Good Manufacturing Practice. This position is also responsible for personnel related matters including scheduling, daily assignments, and performance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Appropriately allocate manpower resources to ensure the proper and timely execution of both scheduled and unscheduled production needs (i.e. labeling, fulfillment, logistics, visual inspection) on a daily basis.
  • Approve electronic time keeping and PTO requests for records.
  • Coordinate with department leads and trainers to identify growth opportunities to improve individual and team performance.
  • Assign team members as needed to accomplish tasks within the designated department in addition to assisting with other departmental needs.
  • Coordinate with technical team on special projects identified as possible improvements in physical or system processes.
  • Communicate directives and initiatives from management to production technicians on assigned shift.
  • Participate and facilitate internal audits including but not limited to process improvement, CAPA, action items and associated updates for identified procedural gaps.
  • Monitor and improve workflow, to include process change development and implementation based on deviation and process not followed events.
  • Actively participate in the evaluation of staff in the performance of all work-related activities; participate in the review process for all assigned shift production technicians.
Basic Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a leadership position (i.e., Shift of Line Leader, Group Leader, etc.) or demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Good working knowledge of all functional areas of the departmental area(s).
  • Solid math and effective problem-solving skills with demonstrated use of sound judgement.
  • Good communication and organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and lead a team.
  • Ability to work with others in a positive and professional manner and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers and management.
  • Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality, accuracy, and accountability.
