Job summary

American Piledriving Equipment Inc. seeks a Logistics & Freight Specialist in Conroe, TX, to coordinate domestic and international freight across our operations.

You will manage heavy-haul and oversized loads, select carriers, negotiate rates, and ensure timely delivery while coordinating with billing, branches, and customers. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in freight, trucking, or logistics, strong carrier relationships, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• At least five years of freight, trucking, dispatch, or logistics experience.
• Strong knowledge of carriers, brokers, loads, and permits.
• Experience coordinating heavy-haul or oversized loads preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Excel; ERP/TMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Book and coordinate domestic and international freight.
• Select carriers and brokers, obtain quotes, negotiate freight rates.
• Confirm equipment requirements, routing, permits, and delivery details.
• Create, track, and reconcile freight purchase orders and accounts.
• Work with billing and branches to resolve freight issues.
• Track shipments and communicate delays and delivery changes.
• Prepare reports identifying freight costs and branch-level trends.
• Support cross-border shipments and tariff/documentation requirements.
