Job summary

DI in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Logistics Associate to provide safe, reliable transportation and loading services for custom projects and materials. The role supports inventory control and coordination of incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy of shipments and records.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, paperwork, and collaboration with the Inventory & Logistics Specialist to address gaps while maintaining vehicle fleets and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Follows all safety policies and safe driving practices.
• Must maintain punctual attendance; willingness to travel with short notice.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required; clean driving record.
• Experience driving large trucks up to 26 ft.; license in MO or KS as listed.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and finished projects to destinations.
• Load and secure trucks to ensure safe delivery.
• Operate forklift and other equipment with safety considerations.
• Unload inbound shipments and verify order accuracy.
• Prepare shipment paperwork and records.
• Collaborate with Inventory & Logistics to resolve issues.
• Maintain organized inventory and notify when stock is low.
• Assist fleet maintenance scheduling and vehicle registrations.
• Manage check-in/check-out for the DI fleet.
