Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience in transportation logistics.
• Experience verifying documents and correcting shipment records.
• Experience auditing carrier invoices and recovering costs.
• Ability to operate multiple computer systems and databases for logistics data.
• Strong communication with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse staff.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and prioritize urgent shipments.

Responsibilities

• Initiating and managing the physical movement of goods.
• Investigating and resolving problems with computer rejects and shipment records.
• Conducting prepayment audits on carrier invoices and inspecting terminals.
• Verifying the Notice of Availability for freight forwarders and processing funding.
• Responding to inquiries with shipment status updates and as a point of contact.
• Handling emergency requisitions and expediting urgent shipments.
• Developing capabilities at the GS-6 level in a developmental capacity.
