Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Forklift Operator is responsible for the operation of a forklift in a warehouse setting and performing various material handling duties. This position requires a high level of skill and ability to ensure that the product is handled in an expedient and safe manner without damage. This position involves the transport, organization, and placement of product in a well-organized and neat manner within the appropriate area of the warehouse, on a truck, or other appropriate location. This individual should possess a good working knowledge of materials handling equipment. The forklift operator is responsible for performing safety inspections of equipment prior to use and for ensuring preventive maintenance and service is performed on a regular basis. Successful completion of instructional course(s) and proper licensing is required prior to operation of any equipment.Must be able to work daily overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
