Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead a Drivers team within the Production department. This full-time role focuses on planning routes, managing the fleet, and ensuring safety and compliance with TSA and DOT standards.

Responsibilities include supervising drivers, coordinating with program staff, and maintaining accurate records while supporting Beneficiaries and donors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license; pass MVR check and TSA training.
• Minimum five years in light industrial/transportation/ops.
• Minimum two years of verifiable supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; DOT rules knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication with staff and donors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor driver performance and transportation operations to identify improvements.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for timely, efficient service.
• Manage fleet maintenance, inspections, and TSA/DOT compliance.
• Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of Drivers and Beneficiaries.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth operations and safety.
