Job summary

Fermi America is seeking an entry-level Logistics I / Expeditor to track purchase orders and proactively expedite materials for the Project Matador construction schedule. You will work with suppliers, freight carriers, and internal stakeholders to confirm acknowledgments, monitor milestones, and keep leadership informed of at-risk deliveries.

The role reports to the Director of Procurement and serves as a key contact between Procurement, vendors, and the project team to maintain material flow

Qualifications

• Entry-level role focused on tracking purchase orders and expediting materials.
• Ability to communicate with suppliers, freight carriers, and internal teams.
• Willingness to support logistics documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor open POs and releases, track status, and update delivery milestones.
• Proactively expedite critical-path orders and report delays to leadership.
• Maintain expediting log with current dates and root causes.
• Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare status reports on on-time delivery and upcoming critical dates.
• Assist with data entry and recordkeeping for procurement records.
