Job summary

Nucor Corporation is seeking a Commercial/Logistics Business Analyst for its Deployment Team, based at the Dallas area. This role focuses on aligning business processes with MES/ERP systems, documenting requirements, and leading testing and training efforts.

Travel up to 75% to support divisions, with safety and operational excellence at the forefront. A four-year degree or equivalent manufacturing experience is required, and knowledge of ERP/MES is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or logistics or IT-related field or 2 years’ equivalent experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with software design, configuration, and implementation.
• Experience with ERP and/or MES software applications.
• Experience in steel manufacturing or related industry preferred.
• Experience leading implementation activities such as testing, training, and data validation.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude) to accelerate analysis, documentation, or requirements gathering.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions with steelmaking divisions and product group locations to align business processes and translate needs into functional system requirements.
• Create test scenarios and scripts, execute testing, and validate outcomes.
• Create documentation and facilitate training for internal and external users.
• Provide hands-on support during the system implementation lifecycle.
• Support the ongoing improvement of order management, pricing/credit, logistics, and material handling processes.
