Allan Myers, Inc is seeking an Equipment & Logistics Intern to support the equipment management team on projects across the mid-Atlantic. This role focuses on cost management, billing, inspections tracking, and maintenance planning for a large fleet of trucks and equipment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics preferred.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Independent problem-solver with excellent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assists Equipment Manager with cost management and review.
• Helps manage equipment billing and daily rate issues.
• Assists PM Coordinator, Shop Forman, and Superintendent as needed.
• Tracks and documents inspections, registrations, and permits for equipment, trucks, and trailers; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Assists with truck and equipment maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Coordinates equipment fuel planning logistics and analyzes data with Transportation Department to improve efficiency.
• Works with Transportation Department to ensure accuracy of equipment locations and related reporting.
• Performs other tasks and projects as assigned.
