Torch Technologies is seeking a Logistics Engineering Manager to lead logistics engineering staff and oversee support-ability activities throughout the design process. This role ensures all support requirements are identified, evaluated, and met.

The position provides leadership and development for assigned personnel while supporting overall team performance in Huntsville, AL. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of logistics engineering experience with supervision are required, along

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years logistics engineering experience with supervision/management experience.
• Active Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise logistics engineering staff directly.
• Oversee all activities related to support-ability during the design process.
• Evaluate and ensure logistics and support requirements are satisfied.
• Lead employment, training, motivation, and discipline of assigned staff.
• Provide day-to-day direction and performance oversight for assigned staff.
• Manage exempt employees directly; may manage nonexempt employees through leads.
• Serve as a first-level manager within the logistics engineering function.
