Job summary

Neovia Logistics Services (NLS) is seeking a logistics/warehouse planner in Chanute, KS. The role focuses on optimizing storage, put-away, and space utilization across service parts logistics.

You will plan and coordinate redesigns and redevelop storage practices to improve efficiency. The position requires a degree in logistics or production engineering, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics/Production Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, WM) would be an advantage.
• Operational management experience would be an advantage.
• Up to 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop warehouse storage concepts and support rearrangement activities.
• Develop layouts of warehouse logistics flows and space utilization.
• Develop processes to enhance warehouse operations and workflow.
• Conduct Facility and Process Design reviews to secure approvals.
• Specify, procure and oversee installation of storage equipment and processes.
• Investigate new technologies to improve efficiencies in warehouse tasks.
• Conduct special projects to achieve better methods and layouts.
