Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Logistics Engineering Specialist to support its Sterling, VA facility. You’ll aid asset management, obsolescence mitigation, and QA, coordinating training events and support across multiple programs.

You will work with the PHS&T team to ensure timely shipments, perform audits, and help track program assets, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail and independent initiative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of experience without a degree.
• Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance required.
• Preferred experience with asset management, packaging and logistics coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support an efficient PHS&T system ensuring on-time shipments and reduced lifecycle costs.
• Interface daily with PHS&T Lead and IPTL to meet SMD PHS&T needs.
• Perform asset and equipment audits on property as directed.
• Identify, plan, and report availability of packing materials to PHS&T Lead/IPTL.
• Process and close-out shipments to/from customer sites, depot, and OEMs.
• Monitor movement of supplies from stock rooms to field operations.
• Support depot-specific operations as directed.
• Maintain excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Assist in innovating tracking strategies for assets and spare parts.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
