Job summary

Neovia Logistics is seeking a warehouse storage optimization specialist to plan, coordinate and assist with redesign and redevelopment of storage practices to improve put-away, shipping, and space utilization.

The role focuses on developing layouts, processes, and procedures for efficient warehouse operations, reviewing designs, procuring equipment, and applying new technologies. A degree in logistics or related field with strong communication and teamwork is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics/Production Engineering or related logistics experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to work in a team with little supervision.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, WM) is advantageous.
• Operational management experience is advantageous.
• Up to 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop warehouse storage concepts and support rearrangement.
• Develop layouts of warehouse logistics flows and space.
• Develop processes to optimize warehouse logistics operations.
• Conduct Facility and Process Design reviews to secure approvals.
• Specify, procure and oversee installation of equipment for layout and design.
• Investigate new technologies and equipment to improve efficiencies.
• Conduct special projects to improve methods, layout and workflow.
