Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Engineer IV to join our Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team supporting aerospace and defense programs in Salt Lake City. This role focuses on how complex products are maintained, supported, and sustained through their lifecycle.

You will perform PSA and LSA, develop sustainment strategies, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to improve readiness and lifecycle costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with required experience in ILS/sustainment.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a future Secret Clearance.

Support Mission-Critical Aerospace & Defense Programs

We're seeking an experienced Logistics Engineer IV to join a high-performing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team supporting advanced aerospace and defense systems. This is a great opportunity to influence how complex products are maintained, supported, and sustained throughout their lifecycle.

Note:

This is not a supply chain, transportation, warehouse, or shipping logistics role. We're looking for candidates with experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Sustainment Engineering, or Logistics Engineering.

What You'll Do

• Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities across multiple aerospace and defense programs.
• Perform Product Support Analysis (PSA) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA).
• Develop sustainment strategies, maintenance plans, and lifecycle support documentation.
• Analyze supportability, maintainability, and lifecycle costs for complex hardware systems.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams to improve product readiness and supportability.
• Help define maintenance concepts at organizational, intermediate, and depot levels.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 6 years of experience OR Master's degree + 4 years of experience OR 10+ years of directly related ILS/sustainment experience.
• Strong background in:
• Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City.
• U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain a future Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace, defense, or military experience.
• Experience with PSA, LSA, GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-STD-1388.
• Experience with Slicwave, EAGLE, Powerlog, Compass (LORA), or CASA (LCCA).
• Military logistics or sustainment background.
• Active security clearance preferred.
