Job summary

2A USA, INC is seeking a Warehouse Operations and Supply Chain Specialist to define logistics processes supporting warehouse management, scheduling, and commercial functions. You will lead material flow and inventory controls in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include FIFO implementation, cost tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Strong ERP and Lean/5S knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain/Operations Management required.
  • Strong costing, warehouse operations, and inventory management knowledge.
  • ERP systems experience and Lean/5S knowledge.
  • 3–5 years production, warehouse, or inventory experience, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.

  • Participate in product Industrialization and Project management to develop efficiencies in all areas of supply chain operations and management and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, streamlining processes, and improving efficiency.
  • Implement FIFO for all material groups. Develop concepts for optimized material staging, material flow and direct delivery processes, including warehouse structures and systems and technical equipment for material staging and transportation.
  • Maintain costing sheet for all SKUs and review timely to update changes in costing structure of SKU.
  • Plan, control and implement processes related to materials and finished goods storage and movement and implement to audit standards.
  • Control and organize storage and inventory space.
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipments. Implement shipping and receiving procedures. Processes receipt of products, materials, and supplies for Inventory accuracy.
  • Establish and maintain maximum and minimum inventory levels.

Defines logistics process supporting warehouse management, scheduling departments and Commercial function for 2a USA. Provides guidance to material movement and storage in the plant. Leads the implementation of strategic projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in product Industrialization and Project management to develop efficiencies in all areas of supply chain operations and management and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, streamlining processes, and improving efficiency.
  • Implement FIFO for All material groups. Develop concepts for an optimized material staging, material flow and direct delivery processes, including warehouse structures and systems as well as technical equipment for material staging and transportation. Utilize Microsoft Visio draft material movements, logistics structure & process layouts to meet Odette standards
  • Maintain costing sheet for all SKU’s and review timely to update changes in costing structure of SKU.
  • Plan, control and implement processes related to materials and finished goods storage and movement and implement to audit standards.
  • Control and organize storage and inventory space
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipments. Implement shipping and receiving procedures. Processes receipt of products, materials, and supplies for Inventory accuracy.
  • Establish and maintain maximum and minimum inventory levels
  • Aid with maintaining logistics planning tasks, Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data.
  • Investigates physical inventory discrepancies and correct to ensure alignment between our inventory system and the physical inventory. Analyzes and performs all proposed inventory adjustments within the system
  • Plan, schedule, release, distribute and close work orders, and purchase requisitions.
  • Verify styles and quantities of jobs being shipped, checking styles and quantities so they align with the appropriate shipping labels on units
  • Responsible for maintaining master labels for all the SKUs and maintain labels serialization for all shipping requirements.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain/Operations Management or equivalent experience in supply chain/logistics.
  • Strong working knowledge of product costing, warehouse operations and management.
  • Working knowledge of effective inventory management and distribution practices.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain processes, including shipping/receiving flow, inventory management, control and logistics planning, warehousing.
  • Proficient in the use of ERP.
  • Lean Management, 5S and ERP knowledge
  • 3-5 years production, warehouse, inventory experience preferred, ideally in a manufacturing or logistics environment

This job operates in a factory environment, with exposure to shop elements such as heat, noise, dust, fumes, and odors.

Travel

Little to no travel is expected for this position. Occasionally, employee may have to travel to pick up or drop off a part.
