Job summary

Vista is seeking a Driver Operator to join our Reno, NV facility. The role involves operating material handling equipment, receiving, storing and moving raw materials and finished goods, and performing SAP-based inventory transactions.

The position expects forklift experience, OSHA training, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The shift is B, 5:00pm-3:30am, with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous work in a manufacturing shipping and receiving environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely offload inbound materials from delivery trucks.
• Safely put away product in storage locations as required using SAP.
• Load customer orders onto outbound trucks.
• Accurately issue goods/material to production using SAP as required.
• 5S the logistics areas as required.
• Work with different material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
• Work in accordance with production schedules and priorities.
• Responsible for safe handling of material unloading, storage and movements.
• Work within a computer-guided inventory system.
• Basic receiving under the direction of an LSA.

Hourly rate for this position: $26.54 for the first 90 days and $27.69 thereafter

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for operating material handling equipment to receive, store and transport raw materials and finished goods into, and throughout the production facility. This role is responsible for performing electronic inventory transactions using the business ERP system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Safelyoff load inbound materials from delivery trucks
• Safely put away product in storage locations as required using SAP.
• Load customer orders onto outbound trucks
• Accurately issue goods material to production using SAP as required.
• 5S the logistics areas as required.
• Work with different material handling equipment. E.g., Forklift, pallet jack, etc.
• Work in accordance with production schedules and communicated priorities.
• Responsible for safe handling of material unloading, storage and material movements activities.
• Work within a computer guided inventory system
• Basic receiving under the direction of an LSA.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing all related tasks as assigned by Management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to lift heavy weights (up to 50 lbs.) for short periods of time.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours)

Compensation

Hourly rate for this position: $26.54 for the first 90 days and $27.69 thereafter
