Job summary

VistaPrint in Reno, NV is seeking Driver Operators to operate material handling equipment and manage inventory within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. You will drive forklifts, load/unload inbound/outbound goods, and perform SAP-based transactions to track materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification and OSHA-related training required.
• Experience operating forklift and material handling equipment in a shipping/receiving environment.

Responsibilities

VistaPrint is looking for talented, fun, and energetic Driver Operators to join our world class manufacturing plant in Reno, NV!

B Shift: 5:00pm-3:30am Monday-Thurday

Hourly rate for this position: $26.54 for the first 90 days and $27.69thereafter

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for operating material handling equipment to receive, store and transport raw materials and finished goods into, and throughout the production facility. This role is responsible for performing electronic inventory transactions using the business ERP system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Safelyoff load inbound materials from delivery trucks
• Safely put away product in storage locations as required using SAP.
• Load customer orders onto outbound trucks
• Accurately issue goods material to production using SAP as required.
• 5S the logistics areas as required.
• Work with different material handling equipment. E.g., Forklift, pallet jack, etc.
• Work in accordance with production schedules and communicated priorities.
• Responsible for safe handling of material unloading, storage and material movements activities.
• Work within a computer guided inventory system
• Basic receiving under the direction of an LSA.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing all related tasks as assigned by Management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Forklift Driving Certification, material handling, and OSHA courses or training.
• Team player who is reliable, eager to learn, train and rotate through the various operations.
• Strong dedication to team member morale, customer service, safety, quality, and delivery
• Ability to multitask.
• Experience operating a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Previous work in a manufacturing shipping and receiving environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to lift heavy weights (up to 50 lbs.) for short periods of time.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours)

Hourly rate for this position: $26.54 for the first 90 days and $27.69 thereafter

The actual salary offered will depend on factors such as location, education, training, and experience.
