Job summary

US Foods in Hurricane, WV is seeking a CDL A Logistics Driver to safely navigate highways and docks, deliver products on time, verify deliveries, and provide professional customer service. You’ll need a valid CDL Class A with endorsements, at least 21, and either six months of commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery.

Travel five days a week; manual transmission preferred where applicable. Benefits begin day one.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months’ commercial driving experience or three months’ commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
• Willing to travel 5 days per week.
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

• Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight.
• Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.
