Job summary

PPG is seeking a Distribution Administrator to provide administrative support to the Operations and Production group at the Euclid Plant. This on-site role reports to the Production and Distribution Manager and follows a Monday through Thursday, 8am to 6:30pm schedule.

The position involves coordinating will-call activities, processing shipments, data entry for production batches, and basic clerical duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong MS Office and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience, preferably in an office or manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel required, Oracle a plus.
• Good communication skills, including written communication.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates will-call activities and schedules outbound shipments.
• Assist with inbound receiving and outbound tank wagon.
• Enter, compile, and validate data to release production batches and labeling.
• Perform clerical production activities.
• Prepare basic correspondence, forms and other documents to complete shipments such as creating Bills of Lading, certificates of analysis.
• May help resolve basic operational problems (inventory).
