Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of dispatching or transportation coordination experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for daily dispatch operations.
• Ability to coordinate schedules, maintain records, and communicate changes.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches and monitors movements of customers’ freight.
• Communicate with drivers and warehouses to ensure timeliness of loads.
• Record and maintain data on trailer movements and statuses.
• Create and process freight purchase orders for inbound loads and transfers.
• Resolve issues affecting pickup or delivery times (weather, traffic, mechanical).
• Follow safety policies and DOT laws.
