100Hires, Inc. is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support shipping/receiving and warehouse operations. You will interact with customers, log daily activities, and help maintain accurate inventory records for finished goods and trailers.

The role requires high school education or GED, good English communication, and the ability to work a 3:00pm–11:00pm shift in a manufacturing setting. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Shipping/receiving experience required.
  • Warehouse experience with inventory control is preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers by phone, email, or in person in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Direct emergency vehicles and communicate for emergencies when necessary.
  • Complete daily shift logs and pass information to the next shift.
  • Perform Vehicle Daily Inspection on assigned vehicle.
  • Maintain inventory/location records of finished goods and trailers.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to supervisor.
  • Maintain attendance and work schedule; able to work overtime.
  • Follow company policies and safety procedures.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork in environments including adverse conditions such as cold, snow, rain or heatInteract and communicate with customers via telephone, email and/or in person in a polite and courteous wayCustomer service focused, represent a professional image regarding pick-up and any delivery problems.Direct emergency vehicles and handle communication for emergencies when necessaryComplete a daily shift log and pass down information at end of shift to Security GuardPerform trailer security exit checklist with Carrier Driver and store electronically with the Bill of Lading (BOL)Submit Quality Issue notifications to Quality DepartmentCompletes daily shift log by recording customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints and comments as well as action taken in neat and legible hand writingRecords, documents and perform data entry for trailer movesMaintain inventory/location records of finished goods and other trailers as neededEscalates unresolved issues to supervisorRegister visitors and direct to entry pointsAnswering internal and external callsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentRead and interpret documents and instructionsPerform and complete Vehicle Daily Inspection checklist on assigned vehiclePerform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product.Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis. Maintain good attendance.Ability to work overtime.Ensure the safety of others near moving vehicles.Maintain key and equipment listAdditional duties include, but not limited to filing, records retention, document copying and scanning, paperwork distribution, etc.Ability to follow Company policies and proceduresPerform other duties assigned required by the CompanyWork Schedule:Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:00pmAbove is a list of the most important responsibilities and functions, which are essential to the position.
