Job summary

Mattress Firm Inc. is seeking a Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator in Sumner, WA to coordinate daily delivery routes and support dispatch activities.

You will work closely with warehouse teams, drivers, and contractors to ensure timely, accurate deliveries and maintain route documentation. The role requires 1+ years in logistics or a related field, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, routing, or related role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of transportation management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch daily delivery routes based on capacity, geography, and business demands.
• Monitor delivery activity and address route delays or disruptions.
• Schedule deliveries and adjust routing plans to maximize efficiency.
• Track, document, and resolve missed deliveries, delivery exceptions, and re-delivery requests.
• Prepare and submit delivery manifests, route documentation, and stop records by deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records to support contractor settlements and delivery performance tracking.
• Communicate route changes and delivery updates to drivers, contractors, and internal teams.
