Logistics Manager
Operations Support Specialists (OSS) provide support for the company’s mission in a designated area. The OSS may be assigned to one or more areas within the administrative office. This position is assigned to the Logistics Department. Duties may include customer service, logistics, clerical and administrative functions, data collection, reporting, inventory, or other duties depending on the assigned area of responsibility. (Although this position is assigned to the Logistics Department, other areas of responsibility are outlined within this description since OSS incumbents may be cross-trained to assist in supporting multiple business functions.)
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree in business-related discipline
Strong background in the use of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite products.
Three years or more experience with Microsoft Office Suite products. Experience within the EMS or/and air medical/healthcare industries.
Valid West Virgina Driver’s License and ability to meet the company’s driver acceptability standards
Satisfactory completion of specialty software training as required
Emergency Vehicle Operators Course, or equivalent (if operating Emergency Vehicles)
The OSS generally conducts business activities in a controlled, office environment. Some of the OSS’s work may take place in the warehouse. Limited exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards may exist in this environment. Occasional travel to remote helicopter and ambulance bases and partner hospitals may be required in support of organizational activities. During these visits the incumbent may be exposed to loud noises and operating mechanical equipment.
