Crowley Fabrication & Machining Co. Inc. seeks a Delivery Coordinator to ensure timely transportation of parts from the facility in New York. You will coordinate daily deliveries, maintain records, and communicate with the VP of Operations and vendors.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, adherence to policies, and assisting with related office tasks. Reliable, detail-oriented candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Coordinates scheduled deliveries and ensures on-time arrival.
• Maintains delivery status and reports to VP of Operations.
• Safely operates delivery vehicles and adheres to policies.
• Assists in coordination of delivery-related office tasks.

Responsabilités

• Assures scheduled deliveries leave on time and arrive on time.
• Coordinates delivery vehicle cleaning and fueling.
• Ensures vehicle readiness and inspects vehicles prior to start of service.
• Checks Fork Lift Inspection Sheet.
• Documents reports of needed repairs or damage to vehicles.
• Assists VP of Operations in coordinating scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Daily reviews of current delivery status with the VP of Operations and directly affected personnel.
• Communicates with VP of Operations and management team regarding transportation and delivery issues and conflicts.
• Properly manages delivery schedule, records, and reports status to VP of Operations.
• Obey current CFM policies and operational procedures related to transportation and delivery.
• Safely operate delivery vehicles.
• Knowledge of existing delivery routes. We only do some local deliveries & on a rare occasion maybe an out-of-town delivery.
• Effectively schedule and coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials.
• Maintain effective working relationships with all customers and vendors.
• Package parts for shipment. Making sure parts do not get damaged in shipping.
• Good eye sight to be able to look at parts being packaged for defects.
• Must be able to have good counts in packaging.
