Job summary

Performance Food Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Corporate Logistics Analyst to identify opportunities for network optimization and support central planning using advanced modeling tools. The role requires knowledge of Transportation Management Systems and extensive Excel/Power BI use.

You will collaborate with regional logistcs managers, procurement teams, and national accounts to improve efficiency, present findings, and implement new projects. On-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Required education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Required Experience: 1 - 2 Years, Logistics or Procurement Related.
• Preferred Education: Bachelors - Management, Logistics or Transportation Operations Concentration within the supply chain or warehouse operations.
• Preferred Experience: 2 - 4 Years, Analytical Role in Logistics or Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate network optimization planning using various modeling software tools.
• Work with Regional and Local Logistics Managers to execute central planning.
• Provide initial projection, implementation and developmental support for new projects.
• Will present data at various meetings and events and on regular conference and Webex calls.
• Work with corporate procurement & national account teams to review vendor profiles, review performance metrics, and audit process compliance.
• Seek out and enter freight rates, allowances, carrier information, lane information and other data within and supporting the TMS systems.
• Route, Tender, Invoice, Process logistics loads, and review lane pricing within internal redistribution networks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
