Job summary

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking a Business Analyst to help build a world-class logistics process. You will extract data from BI databases, automate reports, and build dashboards to support cross-functional teams such as Fulfillment, Sort Centers, Delivery Stations, and Carriers.

You will partner with stakeholders to translate business challenges into data-driven insights, define requirements, and drive improvements across the network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience with SQL or ETL

Responsibilities

• Generating/extracting data from BI databases to support dive deep activities
• Prioritizing, optimizing and delivering timely updates for metrics
• Automating reports and tools with a combination of SQL, Excel
• Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data/analysis to help drive projects
• Uncovering trends and correlations through data mining and analysis to develop insights that can improve the business and help make effective decisions
• Building dashboards and tools to self-serve data needs across teams
• Graphically expressing data for broad accessibility
