Job summary

University of Utah Logistics Coordinators assist in the supply, material flow and storage of inventory from supplier to customer. Ensure timely and accurate flow of material through inbound/outbound shipments. Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and track shipping errors.

Safely move and handle items and assist with inventory records. Load and unload goods from delivery trucks, inspect for quantity and type, and record damages or faults.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.
  • Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels: Logistics Coordinator I, II, III, IV.

Logistics Coordinator, II

Logistics Coordinator, III

Logistics Coordinator, IV

Assist in the supply,material flow, and storage of inventory from the supplier to thecustomer. Ensure timely and accurate flow of material throughinbound/outbound shipments. Review purchase orders and shippingdocuments to ensure accuracy as well as track and fix shippingerrors. Safely and efficiently move and handle items and assistwith inventory records. Load and unload goods from delivery trucks,checking for correct quantity and type of materials. Record anydamaged, missing, or faulty goods and assist in quality control.Work closely with warehouse staff to keep goods organized andmoving. Highest-level support. Performs advanced tasks underminimal supervision. May mentor less-experienced teammembers.Requires 5+ years of related experience.This is a HighlySkilled Level position in the Support track.Job Code: S23584Grade:S16Expected Pay Range: $12.62 to $28.96

Minimum Qualifications

EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher educationcan be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience(Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related workexperience).

  • Logistics Coordinator, I: Requires little to norelated experience.
