Job Summary

Clinical Study Coordinators

This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associatedvaccination requirements, or be approved for an exemption, prior tothe first day of work. We protect our patients, coworkers andcommunity by requiring all patient-sensitive employees to beimmunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy. Limitedexemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications orreligious beliefs that object to vaccinations.

Coordinate technical and administrative aspects of clinicalstudies, supporting research goals and protocol implementation.Assist with participant recruitment, consent processes,documentation, logistics, adverse event monitoring, and budgetnegotiations. Ensures accuracy and compliance while managingspecimen handling for successful study outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher educationcan be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience(Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related workexperience).

Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels:

Clinical Study Coordinator, I: Requires abachelor's (or equivalency) up to 2 years of directly related workexperience or a master's (or equivalency) degree.

Clinical Study Coordinator, II: Requires abachelor's (or equivalency)+ 4 years or a master's (orequivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
