Job summary

SpaceX in the United States is seeking a Logistician (Starship) to oversee flight hardware packaging, shipping, GSE inventory and transports, aligning activities with launch manifests and mission safety.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, and external vendors, apply DOT/CFR regulations, manage master schedules, develop packaging specifications for flight vehicles, and create reports and metrics to drive continuous improvement and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations management, business administration, or supply chain.
• Experience with DOT regulations and CFRs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transport of flight hardware and equipment to ensure safe launches.
• Provide input in compliance with DOT/CFR regulations to logistics and manufacturing for development of transport hardware.
• Coordinate transport with manufacturing, engineering, mission management, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate transport readiness of equipment and direct transport technicians as needed.
• Utilize master production schedules to align resources for transport activities.
• Develop, document, and coordinate packaging of flight vehicles and equipment.
• Create/maintain reports, presentations, and metrics to drive organizational value.
