Job summary

Aerotek in Austin, TX is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk / Logistics Coordinator for a contract-to-hire role in a climate-controlled, on-site warehouse. You will oversee the flow of materials and finished goods, coordinate with warehouse, packaging, and procurement, and support production scheduling to meet customer commitments.

The role offers a Monday–Friday day shift with start times at 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m., limited overtime, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Two years of logistics, supply chain, or operations experience.
Experience with WMS/TMS or equivalent.
Experience with inventory, shipping, and receiving in warehouse/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Monitor order process from receipt to fulfillment.
Coordinate across warehouse, packaging, and procurement to drive material movement.
Support production scheduling to meet customer requirements.
Unload inbound containers and stage materials for receipt and put-away.
Assist with weighing and measuring orders for accurate shipping and records.
Develop and maintain logistics processes to reduce costs and improve service.
Review procedures to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
Coordinate with carriers and brokers for timely, accurate communications.
Ensure correct orders and materials are available for daily production.
