Job summary

Thistle is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Cincinnati to support onsite delivery operations and serve as the primary contact for drivers. You will coordinate routes, check in drivers, and help ensure timely, accurate deliveries to customers.

You will also train drivers, maintain rosters, and collaborate with Customer Support and Logistics to resolve issues and improve performance. This role is essential for smooth daily execution of our direct-to-consumer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily onsite delivery operations from start to finish.
• Unload deliveries from trucks and/or cold storage.
• Organize routes and staging.
• Check-in drivers and distribute routes accordingly.
• Keep the delivery driver roster up to date.
• Train and coach new and existing delivery drivers as needed.
• Keep detailed documentation and compile shift reports.
• Act as a last resort rescue and/or VIP delivery driver when needed.
• Conduct delivery driver interviews.
• Assist with onboarding new drivers as needed.
• Collaborate with Customer Support and Logistics teams to review and mitigate error reports.

About The Role

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, Logistics Coordinators monitor daily onsite delivery operations from start to finish. Logistics Coordinators are often the first person delivery drivers meet in person, and they are a communication point of contact for emergency and non-emergency calls from drivers. Logistics Coordinators track our Delivery Drivers' movements to ensure successful direct-to-consumer deliveries.
