Job summary
United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to develop load plans and select carriers to meet delivery expectations. You will coordinate daily shipments, dispatch loads, and maintain strong customer and carrier relationships in a fast-paced logistics environment.
The role requires at least a high school diploma and ~2 years of transportation experience. Proficiency with AS400, SAP and MS Office is a plus, with opportunities for growth and contributing to the team’s
Qualifications
- Minimum HS diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of transportation experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with AS400, SAP and MS Office is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipments including load planning and carrier selection.
- Dispatch loads and ensure timely deliveries meeting customer expectations.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Support profitability objectives and month-end close activities.
- Foster positive carrier relations and assist managers as needed.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
