Job summary

Red Valve Gastonia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics Team. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, work with carriers, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining accurate shipping documentation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3 years of logistics experience in manufacturing, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong Excel skills. This full-time role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative, safety-conscious work environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and shipping processes.
• Understanding of shipping documentation, freight terms, and export requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and carrier management preferred.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic and international freight.
• Obtain freight quotes and schedule transportation with carriers.
• Prepare Bills of Lading, packing lists, export documents, and other shipping paperwork.
• Monitor shipments and resolve transportation delays or issues.
• Coordinate shipping priorities with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Communicate shipment status to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and export requirements.
• Process freight claims and coordinate delivery appointments.
• Maintain shipping records and transportation documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and reduce freight costs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
