Job summary

Allen Lund Company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to drive daily freight brokerage operations. You will work with Transportation Brokers to manage loads, schedule pickups, and ensure smooth supply chains using our tech tools.

Training on our proprietary TMS is provided; bring a tech-savvy mindset and strong problem-solving abilities. The role emphasizes accurate data handling, real-time updates to customers, and proactive carrier outreach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Tech-savvy and comfortable with modern tech
• Strong command of Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Experience or familiarity with AI tools is a plus
• Laser-focused attention to detail in load data, compliance, and finance
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Manage active loads alongside transportation brokers
• Schedule pickups and deliveries, and vet carriers on digital platforms
• Proactively update carriers and provide real-time updates to shippers and customers
• Build relationships with carriers and assess lane availability and capacity
• Assist with branch accounting tasks like invoicing and digital payments
• Deliver high-touch customer service aligned with company principles
• Support daily office workflows and use digital tools to stay efficient

As a Logistics Coordinator, you are the engine driving our daily freight brokerage operations. Working alongside our Transportation Brokers, you will manage active loads, leverage high-speed tech tools, and ensure our supply chains run without a hitch. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Master the Logistics Lifecycle: Efficiently build loads, schedule pickup/delivery appointments, and set up vetted carriers within our digital platforms.
• Keep Freight Moving: Proactively conduct update/check calls with carriers, track active shipments, and deliver real-time, critical updates to shippers and customers.
• Carrier Sourcing & Outreach: Build strong relationships with carriers by inquiring about lane availability, equipment types, and capacity.
• Maintain Compliance & Documentation: Ensure seamless record-keeping with exceptional attention to detail by requesting and verifying insurance certificates, handling rate confirmations, and keeping carrier resources updated.
• Streamline Operations & Finance: Support branch accounting by matching invoices, issuing Com-checks or Quick Pays, and leveraging digital tools to keep daily office workflows running smoothly.
• Deliver 5-Star Service: Uphold our company principles (Customer, Company, Office) by delivering high-touch customer support at every turn.
• Work every5th Saturday 8am-12pm
