Allen Lund Company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to drive daily freight brokerage operations. You will work with Transportation Brokers, manage loads, schedule pickups, and ensure smooth supply chains while leveraging high-speed tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Build loads and schedule pickup/delivery appointments in our system.
• Track shipments, update carriers, and provide real-time updates to shippers and customers.
• Source carriers, check lane availability, and understand equipment types and capacity.
• Maintain meticulous records: insurance certificates, rate confirmations, and carrier resources.
• Support branch accounting by matching invoices and processing payments.
• Deliver high-touch customer service aligned with company principles.

Working alongside our Transportation Brokers, you will manage active loads, leverage high-speed tech tools, and ensure our supply chains run without a hitch. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Master the Logistics Lifecycle: Efficiently build loads, schedule pickup/delivery appointments, and set up vetted carriers within our digital platforms
• Keep Freight Moving: Proactively conduct update/check calls with carriers, track active shipments, and deliver real-time, critical updates to shippers and customers
• Carrier Sourcing & Outreach: Build strong relationships with carriers by inquiring about lane availability, equipment types, and capacity
• Maintain Compliance & Documentation: Ensure seamless record-keeping with exceptional attention to detail by requesting and verifying insurance certificates, handling rate confirmations, and keeping carrier resources updated
• Streamline Operations & Finance: Support branch accounting by matching invoices, issuing Com-checks or Quick Pays, and leveraging digital tools to keep daily office workflows running smoothly
• Deliver 5-Star Service: Uphold our company principles (Customer, Company, Office) by delivering high-touch customer support at every turn
