Job summary

Mowi USA is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage delivery-related matters across the U.S., with a focus on LTL and FTL transportation. The role collaborates with sales, carriers, warehouses, and operations leadership to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, and experience in refrigerated or temperature-controlled logistics. This on-site position is based in Miami, FL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor degree preferred; combination of education and experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Sales, freight forwarders, carriers, and Operations leadership on delivery-related matters.
• Manage daily logistics activities including shipment planning, tracking, and delivery scheduling.
• Monitor shipments and adjust plans to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Ensure cold-chain compliance for prepaid customer shipments.
• Coordinate LTL & FTL transportation activities, including carrier selection and rate comparisons.
• Develop and maintain a diverse network of trucking companies and 3PL partners.
• Evaluate freight options based on rates, transit times, and carrier performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Planning, Warehousing, brokers, and carriers.
• Cross-train to ensure coverage when team members are unavailable.
