Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily inbound and outbound logistics, coordinate with carriers and warehouses, and ensure on-time delivery. The role requires strong process knowledge and hands-on leadership of a small team in a fast-paced setting.

You will track shipments, prepare documentation, manage inventory with warehouse staff, and drive process improvements to meet SLAs. Experience with WMS/TMS and MS Office is preferred.

• 3+ years of logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations experience.
• 1+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, warehouse, and inventory management.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely delivery.
• Schedule and track transportation activities with carriers, warehouses, and customers.
• Monitor active shipment statuses and proactively resolve transit or delivery issues.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, billing records, and daily operational reports.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in coordination with warehouse staff.
• Investigate shipment discrepancies and execute corrective actions.
• Support peer logistics coordinators and work collaboratively to maintain operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to streamline daily workflows.
• Follow and help update logistics SOPs and operational guidelines.
• Track KPIs and suggest ideas for process optimization and cost efficiency.
• Ensure customer requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
