Premier Packaging is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Indianapolis, IN to dispatch freight, assign routes, and manage bills of lading while coordinating with drivers and customers.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with competitive pay and benefits, including bonuses and 401k. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years dispatch experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years Dispatcher experience preferred.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Aligns the day’s freight with available drivers. Dispatches drivers with loads, routes, bills of lading, and timelines.
• Freight scheduling.
• Pick ticket and load tags.
• Tracks driver hours and log book activity.
• Post bills of lading meeting requirements and forward discrepant bills to Shipping Manager.
• Daily communication with Drivers, customers and Management team.

We are currently searching for a Logistics Coordinator who assign & dispatch freight to Drivers, oversee routes and bill of ladings and timeline for the Drivers.

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Aligns the day’s freight with available drivers. Dispatches individual drivers with assigned loads, routes, bill of ladings, and timelines.
• Freight scheduling
• Pick ticket and load tags
• Tracks individual driver hours available and log book activity
• Posts all bills of lading meeting the requirements and forwards all discrepant bills of lading to the Shipping Manager
• Daily communication with Drivers, customers and Management team
