Overview
Works as a multi-functional logistician specialized in receiving, storing, distributing, delivering, material handling, warehousing, and shipping operations within a work environment focused on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Responsibilities
Logistics Coordinator I:
- Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work environment at all times.
- Loads materials onto vehicles, installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit.
- Safely moves, loads, and unloads products to and from pallet racks with MHE above or below ground.
- Reads work orders and/or follows oral instructions to meet scheduled activities.
- Receives materials and verifies materials against packing lists to ensure delivery accuracy.
- Works effectively in a team environment and demonstrates flexibility in all tasks.
- Communicates effectively, reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating policies, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Wears personal protective equipment as required.
- Operates and drives industrial trucks with lifting devices, such as forklifts, boom, scoop, lift beam, swivel-hook, fork-grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse or storage locations.
- Must complete the CBPS Forklift Operator Training Course satisfactorily.
- Receives incoming shipments of raw materials and pharmaceutical products.
- Collaborates with the client Quality Assurance team to ensure all materials and products meet cGMP and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Logistics Coordinator II:
- Includes all duties of Level I.
- Preferred experience in a cGMP environment.
- Preferred experience with GDP (Good Documenting Practices).
- Preferred experience with SAP software.
- May handle and transport hazardous materials and dry ice.
Responsibilities
Logistics Coordinator III:
- Includes all duties of Level I and II.
- Required experience in a cGMP environment.
- Required experience with GDP and SAP software.
- May handle and transport hazardous materials and dry ice.
- May perform OSR-related duties, including mail operation, routing, pick-up, and delivery activities, and participation in related tasks.
Qualifications
Logistics Coordinator I:
- Capable of standing and/or walking for extended periods (at least 2 hours, four times per day).
- May lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Must operate a forklift safely.
- Must wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Ability to understand and adhere to regulations regarding materials handling and transportation.
Qualifications
Logistics Coordinator II & III:
- In addition to Level I qualifications, proficiency with computers, SAP software, and administrative tasks.
- Understanding and adherence to regulations regarding materials handling and transportation.
