Job summary

BrandSafway Group in Woodland, California, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to provide operations support and ensure timely order fulfillment. The role focuses on preparing accurate information for the operations team and maintaining fleet balance both in the yard and on site.

The coordinator will assist drivers, handle transfers, process customs requests, coordinate freight, and respond to CSR inquiries. A strong knowledge of inventory control and Excel is preferred.

• Proficiency in Excel for data handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations Manager/Branch Manager with key duties.
• Assist drivers at Operations window and coordinate orders with yard personnel.
• Process and receive transfers between locations.
• Prepare customs requests with article numbers, descriptions, cost, weight, and country of origin.
• Solicit freight quotes and arrange freight; provide Bill of Lading.
• Respond to CSR inquiries about order fulfillment and status.
• Coordinate all Aluma drivers’ movements daily; outsource cartage when needed.
• Create and fulfill stock transfer orders.
• Verify goods receipt and invoices; update in Profield.
• Enter picked quantities into delivery documents.
• Verify goods issued/received in shipping and receiving.
• Source equipment within the company if requested by Ops Manager.
• Solicit multiple freight quotes and manage shipping expenses.

Summary

Provides operations support to management. This position is accountable to prepare accurate, complete and timely information pertaining to the operations department. The Supply Chain Coordinator is expected to proactively identify and bring to the attention of the Operations Manager and/or Branch Manager any issues that may have a potential impact on customer order fulfillment and the fleet balance both in the yard and on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Special duties as requested by Operations Manager and/or Branch Manager.
• Assists the drivers when they check in at Operations window and coordinate orders with yard personnel.
• Process and receive transfers from and to other locations.
• Prepare customs requests, including article numbers, descriptions, cost, weight, composition and Country of Origin using Profield, and Brand On-Line to obtain information.
• Solicit and obtain freight quotations and arrange freight for transfers or vendor movement. Provide Bill of Lading.
• Direct and respond to CSR inquiries in regard to order fulfilment and order status.
• Coordinate all of Aluma driver’s movements on a daily basis, outsource cartage when required.
• Assists in creating and fulfilling stock transfer orders.
• Verifies goods receipt and verifies invoices and updates in Profield.
• Enters picked quantities into delivery documents (ship and return).
• Verifies goods issued and goods received (shipping and receiving).
• At the request of the Operations Manager, may source equipment from within the company.
• Solicit multiple freight quotes and arrange freight services to manage shipping and receiving expenses.
• Should possess a good working knowledge of Inventory Control and Excel.
