Job summary

Microchip USA is seeking a motivated logistics professional for an in-office role in Tampa, FL. The position focuses on coordinating shipments, reviewing documents, and improving supply chain processes while collaborating with multiple departments and vendors.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a relevant bachelor's degree, and experience in supply chain operations. APICS certification and CRM/SAP experience are a plus, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate required.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field (preferred).
• APICS certification preferred (CPIM or CSCP).
• Supply chain experience (2-3 years preferred).
• Experience with CRM/SAP software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Collaborating with other departments to update client information and orders.
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary.
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors.
• Preparing bills and invoices.
• Managing distribution and shipment budgets.
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
• Tracking and updating vendor performance for evaluation.
• Creating and processing documentation as needed.
• Resolving tariff and customs issues.
