Job summary

Insight Global is looking for a logistics coordinator in Milpitas, CA, to manage communication between manufacturing and shipping teams. This role requires 2-5 years of experience in logistics and proficiency in Spanish to facilitate discussions with vendor teams.

The successful candidate will ensure that all documentation is complete and quality checks are conducted before shipments. This position requires strong attention to detail and reliable onsite attendance.

Qualifications

Job description

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environments
• Bilingual in Spanish- ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking teams daily
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow and verify process steps and documentation
• Comfortable working on feet for extended periods and able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Reliable and able to work onsite in Milpitas, CA (8 hours/day)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Plusses:

• Exposure to SAP or similar inventory/shipment tracking systems

Day to Day:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between manufacturing teams and third-party crating/shipping vendors
• Verify equipment readiness and ensure all required quality checks and documentation are complete prior to shipment
• Monitor and support crating activities to ensure adherence to specifications and handling requirements
• Communicate clearly with Spanish-speaking vendor teams to prevent misalignment and resolve issues in real time
• Track shipments, maintain documentation, and update systems (SAP or similar) as needed
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in the shipping/crating process and elevate as needed
• Support general logistics coordination and onsite operational needs
