CME Wire & Cable, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations. You will coordinate shipments, maintain documentation, and communicate status with internal teams, carriers, and drivers to ensure timely execution.

Responsibilities include processing shipping documents, coordinating carrier appointments, and updating QAD/WMS/ERP systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in warehouse logistics, order/shipment coordination, or related logistics function.
• At least 1 year in shipping/transport administration including carrier coordination, BOLs, PODs, packing lists.
• 1 year working with warehouse systems such as QAD, WMS, ERP, scanners, or shipment/receipt/transfer transactions.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and electronic filing systems.

• Process and maintain shipping, receiving, transfer, will-call, return/RMA, and other warehouse docs.
• Coordinate carrier pickups, deliveries, routing, and will-calls; manage LTL and truckload docs.
• Enter and verify shipments, receipts, transfers, order status, and labels in QAD/WMS/ERP.
• Monitor open orders, ship dates, backlog, priority, and partial shipments to ensure timely execution.
• Communicate shipment status and address shortages, delays, damages, or appointment issues.
• Maintain bills of lading, packing lists, PODs, shipment logs, and related docs.
• Assist inventory control: cycle counts, location verification, discrepancy research, holds, transfers.
• Prepare routine shipment reports and status updates for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Ops, Sales, Transportation, and Drivers to resolve issues.

CME Wire & Cable is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to support the daily administrative and logistics activities of our warehouse operations. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate documentation and system transactions, communicating order and delivery status, and working closely with internal teams, carriers, and drivers to support timely and accurate execution.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, transfer, will-call, return/RMA, and other warehouse documentation.
• Coordinate carrier appointments, pickups, deliveries, routing requirements, customer will-calls, and truckload/LTL documentation.
• Create, update, and verify transactions within QAD, WMS, and ERP systems, including shipments, receipts, transfers, order status, and labels.
• Monitor open orders, ship dates, backlog, priority requests, partial shipments, and missing information to help ensure timely execution.
• Communicate shipment status and enforce shortages, inventory discrepancies, carrier delays, damages, appointment issues, and other service risks as needed.
• Maintain accurate bills of lading, packing lists, proofs of delivery, shipment logs, carrier records, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Support inventory-control activities, including cycle counts, location verification, discrepancy research, holds, transfers, and receiving/shipping differences.
• Prepare routine reports and status updates related to shipments, backlog, priority orders, carrier activity, and other logistics needs.
• Partner with Warehouse Operations, Sales/Customer Service, Transportation, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, carriers, and drivers to resolve issues and support customer requirements.
• Support safety, 5S, CTPAT documentation, audit readiness, continuous improvement, and other warehouse-office activities.
• Participate in cross-training and provide coverage during absences, peak periods, month-end activities, and physical inventory as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse logistics, customer service, order coordination, shipment coordination, or a related logistics function.
• At least 1 year of experience with shipping or transportation administration, including carrier coordination, appointments, bills of lading, PODs, packing lists, and shipping records.
• At least 1 year of experience working with warehouse systems such as QAD, WMS, ERP platforms, scanners, or shipment/receipt/transfer transactions.
• Working knowledge of warehouse logistics, order flow, shipping and receiving documentation, carrier appointments, and inventory processes.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and electronic filing systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, shipments, documents, and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and system information.
• Ability to research discrepancies, identify missing information, resolve routine issues, and elevate concerns appropriately.
